Sonja L. Nesbit joins the firm from the Department of Health and Human Services, where she served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Legislation for Human Services. Prior to her political appointment at HHS, Ms. Nesbit served as the Deputy Staff Director for the House Ways and Means Subcommittee on Human Resources for more than a decade. Ms. Nesbit will work with Arent Fox’s team of leading health care and life science attorneys to advise clients on regulation and potential legislation impacting health and tax policy.
