The McCormick Group is pleased to have assisted in the placement of Jay Anania as Director, Foreign Affairs Business with Buchanan & Edwards.
Jay Anania most recently served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at the Organization of American States and before that managed the U.S. Embassy in Suriname for three years.
Mr. Anania also held the roles of Management Counselor at the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad and the U.S. Embassy in Berlin. His career at the State Department included roles such acting Chief Information Officer and Director of Management Policy, Rightsizing and Innovation Offices. While at the State Department, Mr. Anania implemented its first global mobile computing program and achieved cost savings of $20 million/year by upgrading the department’s global telecommunications network.
For Buchanan & Edwards, he will manage a diverse portfolio of contracts with the Department of State and the US Agency for International Development utilizing his expertise in enterprise strategy and business processes to drive innovation and improve productivity for those agencies and others.
