As Founder and CEO of The McCormick Group, Bill has been involved in more than 5,000 searches for executives and technical candidates in nearly every market specialty. He is considered an authority in establishing industry sources, determining candidate motivations, defining effective interviewing processes, and negotiating compensation. Bill personally conducts searches and provides consulting advice for selected clients in the areas of marketing, executive management, personnel, compensation, and ownership transition.
Bill established The McCormick Group in 1974 and has grown the company on the foundation that client satisfaction is essential to success. Before that, he managed the Washington, DC office of Lulejian & Associates, a firm specializing in systems analysis and strategic planning. He also worked as a management consultant for KPMG. Bill began his career as a Systems Analyst at the United States Air Force Systems Command. He provided systems analysis for US Air Force systems in support of their development and application.
Bill received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the U.S. Air Force Academy and a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from The George Washington University.
