The McCormick Group’s Nicolette Kuba Hurd hosted Washington DC’s first local Hacking HR Chapter Meeting

Digital transformation is no longer just optional. It encompasses every discipline, every function and just about every role. – The digital age does not bypass any organization.

At the intersection of technology, organizations and people, Hacking HR Forum, a vibrant, rapidly growing global community of tech evangelists, transformation strategists and HR leaders, brought together in D.C. by Enrique Rubio, met for the first time to lead a conversation about what is happening — and must happen in HR — to adapt and drive digital transformation.

Angie Wilen, Director of HR Innovation at Freddie Mac delivered a conversation-sparking presentation about “Is Disrupting HR Possible?” which was followed by an insightful, lively conversation among the many participants.

The first meeting of the Hacking HR forum in Washington DC addressed many of the current issues facing HR and HR disruption. “At the heart of digital transformation is not technology itself. At the heart of transformation is the human which is why HR finds itself in the vortex of change and consequently must take a new role in preparing organizations for the future”, said Nicolette Kuba Hurd, who leads the digital transformation & innovation space with TMG.

Join in for more! Hacking HR Forum has regular chapter meetings across the capital and has a major event coming up in the capital, on October 23.
