McCormick Group Principal Linda Segal participated in the Tech Council of Maryland‘s Annual Bio+Tech16 Conference, which was held at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center on May 23-24, 2016. Linda, who heads the Life Science & Healthcare Practice at The McCormick Group and is active in the life sciences, biotechnology, and healthcare industries in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, organized three panels: “The End of Security and Privacy – What Hope Do We Have?”, “The Promise + Limits of Big Data”, and “An Answer to the ‘Moon Shot’ – Immunotherapeutics”.

Presented by the Tech Council of Maryland, Bio+Tech16 reflects the changing landscape where life sciences and technology converge by bringing together more than 500 professionals in both fields so that they may meet and forge new partnerships that will lead to great new discoveries. Bio+Tech16 is the first event of its kind in the Mid-Atlantic region that brings together the life science and technology sectors to meet and leverage the talents of the other to grow their organizations and their industry.
