Eleven Employee Benefits (EB) attorneys moved firms in January, a big increase from the three in December. The total included seven partners, one senior counsel, two counsels, and one senior attorney.
The eleven attorneys cover many aspects of law including employee benefits issues in M&A and other corporate transactions, executive compensation arrangements, ERISA litigation, retirement plan and health & welfare plan compliance and counseling, and EB plan design and associated tax, accounting, and securities law implications.
The moves in January included several international law firms. For instance, Crescent Chasteen and Rachel Smith departed Goodwin Procter for Morrison Foerster and David Diaz and Jaime Schneider both joined Winston & Strawn from Epstein Becker & Green and Seyfarth Shaw, respectively.
