The McCormick Group attended the Harvard Business School Club of Washington, DC‘s Second Annual Leadership Gala on June 15, 2016. The gala, which took place at the Four Seasons in Georgetown, Washington, DC, was attended by over 350 of the club’s alumni from varied industries, experiences, and interests. It also included the bestowal of the 2016 HBS Lifetime Award and the Alumni Achievement Award, which were presented to David Bradley (Chair and CEO of Atlantic Media Group) and Carolyn Everson (VP of Global Marketing Solutions of Facebook), respectively.
The McCormick Group was represented by Executive Vice President Brian McCormick. Brian is a 1989 graduate of the Harvard Business School Owner/President Management (OPM) program, and currently a director of the HBS Club of Washington, DC Board of Trustees.
The HBS Club of Washington, DC is one of the largest Harvard Business School alumni clubs in the world, with the mission of fostering higher education, strengthening alumni ties to HBS, and promoting learning, professional networking, and career development. Among the 15 events the Club hosted this year was the 53 Years of Women at HBS, an event focused on celebrating and discussing the contributions of HBS women.
