The McCormick Group is pleased to have assisted in the placement of Stephen Northrup as Senior Vice President of Government Relations and Public Policy at Global Medical Response, an industry leader in providing emergency medical and patient relocation services around the world.
Stephen comes to Global Medical Response from his own health policy and advocacy consultancy, Rampy Northrup LLC., which represented corporations and associations before Congress, the executive branch, and the states. Rampy Northrup was recognized as one of the top lobbying firms of 2021 by Bloomberg Government.
Before founding his consultancy, Steve held several leadership roles that have contributed to his deep understanding of the health policy, regulatory, and reimbursement landscape. He has served as CEO of two healthcare industry associations, managed the federal affairs office for a Fortune 50 health benefits company, and led the ten-person health policy staff for the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions.
