The McCormick Group has been retained by DLA Piper to assist in recruiting a Director of Professional Development. Partnering with the firm’s Chief Human Resources Officer, the Director of Professional Development will direct the implementation of initiatives to support and align with the firm’s talent management strategy including policy development; design and delivery of attorney and client training programs; design and delivery of attorney career development programs; oversight of MCLE activities and compliance; and supervision of the Marbury Institute, the firm’s innovative learning program geared to the firm’s attorneys.
The Director will oversee Professional Development initiatives for all of the United States, Puerto Rico, and Mexico, with significant involvement with the firm’s Canadian offices as well. The Director will supervise a staff of six.
